"Mr Stringwell was employed by the Homestead Estate Limited to resurface the area of the Estate’s roads which are subject to the heaviest wear level. The area concerned is of about 800 square metres and encompasses three T-Junctions as well as the Entrance to the Estate. It is a particularly difficult job because there is only one Entrance to the Estate and everyone then has to use the subsequent T-Junction. Only thereafter can a one-way system be imposed to route traffic away from the works. There is a high vehicle flow at all times.

In order to minimise the disruption to the Estate’s residents, Mr Stringwell arranged to complete the work in just two days by the application of an army of men and machines. We had originally anticipated it would take a lot longer.

At all times the contractors did their best to minimise disturbance, were courteous to residents and went to great pains to facilitate their entrance to and exit from the Estate.

The work was completed on time, to budget and to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Stringwell for any tarmacadam project."
